Daniel Ahlers
Daniel Ahlers is a Certified Professional Integral Coach®, and Executive Director of the Centre for Coaching (Switzerland). Coaching since 2010, with a particular focus on senior leaders in multinational and NGO environments, he has also been mentoring on training programmes run by the Centre since 2014. Of South African origin, he has been based in Switzerland since 1995.
Daniel spent more than 15 years working in a corporate environment, where he covered numerous domains firstly at Edipresse in Lausanne and then with Naville in Geneva, a subsidiary of the Lagardère Group. These included Decision Support Systems, Financial controlling, Sales & Marketing and Innovation, holding positions as Director and Executive Committee member of the Press Distribution Business Unit at Naville, and heading up cross functional taskforces, including leading a company wide innovation initiative.
More recently, he founded and directed Le News, an Anglophone media for Switzerland, being responsible in particular for strategy, business development and relationships with key stakeholders.
Daniel is a certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West and an Associate Certified Coach through ICF. He has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science & Chemistry and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of the Witwatersrand. (read more >>>)
