INTERESTED IN STUDYING COACHING?
For individuals wanting to become coaches, the Centre offers an 18-month programme that is made up of two courses targeted at different levels:
- Coaching for Development (six months)
- Professional Coaching Course (one year).
The programmes together address the following training needs:
- Businesses wishing to extend the coaching competencies of their management and leadership teams;
- Professionals wanting to focus on coaching as their core line of business and require training and accreditation; and
- Students of the GSB who are interested in the addition of coaching to their ongoing education.
- Because all courses are recognised by the ICF, under the auspices of our learning partner, New Ventures West, they can also be used as part of the requirements towards becoming an ICF certified coach. For more information on ICF certification click here.
The Centre for Coaching also offers a stand-alone five day course Strategic Leadership Through Coaching offered in partnership with the UCT Graduate School of Business Executive Education arm. The course fuses three disciplines – leadership, one-on-one coaching and strategy – creating an innovative learning mix that can help delegates to reach deeper levels of self knowledge and understand and improve their contribution towards leading strategic change within their organisations.

For organisations that are interested in developing and implementing coaching interventions to shift cultural and leadership styles the Centre for Coaching offers a range of tailored programmes.
The Centre for Coaching has created several programmes to address the training needs of organisations. These core programmes are used as a foundation upon which to develop tailored training modules to meet the specific requirements of an organisation.
The key objective is to provide managers and leaders with a relevant and applicable coaching competency, tailored to their organisation’s culture, leadership profile and strategic objectives.

ALREADY A COACH BUT WILLING TO CONTINUE YOUR COACHING JOURNEY ?
The Centre For Coaching is hosting regular Masterclass programme, as a one-day workshop to learn, assess and explore around a particular subject. A masterclass is an opportunity to reconnect and to continue deepening this coaching journey and bring the community together.
