Workshop: Resilience – Rising Above Uncertainty

The Centre for Coaching is excited to return to the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Suisse Romande Chapter on April 26th to present the topic of Resilience – Rising Above Uncertainty.

Led by Janine Ahlers, an Integral Coach® and Director of the Centre for Coaching, this workshop is open to the general public and an excellent opportunity for you to identify and begin to develop your inner capabilities.

What is Resilience?

Resilience is the capacity to withstand changes around us and to act in ways that allow us to endure.  This workshop is designed to help you discover the power of resilience as a way of overcoming uncertainty.

During our time, we will:

• Explore the elements and capacities that constitute resilience;
• Assess our level of resilience in various circumstances;
• Evaluate what impact our resilience has on the decisions and actions we take around us.
• Review practices, reflections, and readings that coaches can assign to clients to build greater resilience.

Participants will leave this workshop equipt with more creative ways to build their competence and capacity of this key quality in our modern world.

As a participant, you will be able to:

• Understand the dimensions of resilience and how it shows up in your (and others’) thoughts, feelings and actions;
• Assess how resilient you and other people are and what needs to be done to grow this key capacity;
• Translate resilience theory into practical ways of working with others, including colleagues and when coaching clients.

For Whom: This workshop is open to the general public.  Managers, team leaders, coaches, and individuals looking to further develop their capability of resilience are encouraged to participate.
