Of South African origin, he has been based in Switzerland since 1995, has travelled extensively and is fully bilingual (English and French), allowing him to develop a keen appreciation of the challenges facing leaders and entrepreneurs who operate in multi-cultural environments.

Previous Background

Daniel spent the first 15 years of his career progressing swiftly within both Edipresse in Lausanne and then with Naville in Geneva, a subsidiary of the Lagardère Group. The domains covered included Decision Support Systems, Financial Controlling, Sales & Marketing as well as Innovation, holding positions as Director and Executive Committee member, and heading up an array of cross-functional taskforces, including a company-wide innovation initiative.

After 15 years in a corporate context, Daniel decided to devote his attention and passion to entrepreneurial ventures and coaching, where he went on to found and direct Le News, an Anglophone media for Switzerland, and then spearheaded the set-up of the Centre for Coaching in Europe.
